She is one of the members of the Memphis triad (Petah – Sekhmet – Nefertem). female goddess. Her titles: The Great Lady, Beloved of Ptah, Ain Ra, The Lady of War, The Lady of the Two Lands (Upper and Lower Egypt), The Lady of the Libyan Land, The Mighty and many other titles. The lioness is the sacred animal of the Memphis Sekhmet, whose name means strong.
Sekhmet, which means strong, was always represented as a woman with the head of a lioness, or in the form of a woman and the head of a lioness, sitting on the throne, which is adorned with the sign of unifying the north and south of Egypt. The center of her worship was in Memphis, and she was considered the wife of Ptah and the mother of Nefertum, the god of the lotus, as they represented the Memphis triad (Ptah Sekhmet and their son Nefertum).
